Skeletonization is a well-known problem in the computer graphics and visualization research community. In this project, we develop skeleton-growing algorithm which can extract a curve-skeleton from a 3D object automatically. It produces a single reliable result without threshold adjustment step. The resulting curve-skeleton could be used in many different applications including visualization, shape recognition and computer animation.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n
