RoboTable System
Hardware platform
We developed an interactive tabletop platform which
supports both multi-touch input and object tracking.
We successfully combined FTIR and DI techniques and
leveages the strong points of each to improve tracking
performance.
Robot
The robots play essential roles in RoboTable system.
As
tangible, movable and friendly interactive components,
the robots are designed to be trackable accurately and
full-functional controllable. They're also small-sized and
have good tactile impression.
Software Framework
We developed a general software framework for this
system. This framework provides APIs so that games
and other applications can be easily developed based
on this framework. This framework is developed under
Java environment.
